For dog grooming shops
Your website’s front desk.
Limona greets your customers, asks what you’d ask, quotes your price and books them into the calendar you already keep.
Sunday 7:04 PM, the shop is closed
hi, do you have anything this week for my golden retriever?
Happy to help. Have you been in with us before, or is this her first visit?
first time
Welcome! What’s her name, and how old is she?
Pepper, she’s 8
And roughly what does Pepper weigh?
about 70 lbs
Has she been groomed professionally before, and what made you look for somewhere new?
she has, the last place rushed her
Sorry to hear that. How is she with the dryers? Some dogs find them a lot.
she panics, they had to stop last time
Noted, we’ll hand dry her instead. Any treats she loves, or any she can’t have?
peanut butter, she’d do anything for it
Noted. A Bath and Brush for Pepper at 70 lbs is $75, about an hour and a half. Dremel nails are another $10 if you’d like them.
yes to the nails
Can I get your first name and the best mobile number for you?
Jack, 585-555-0134
Thanks Jack. Sam has Thursday 18 September at 9 AM. Shall I book Pepper in?
perfect
Booked Thursday 9 AM with Sam. On the schedule: hand dry, peanut butter treats.
No new software to learn. Your calendar stays exactly where it is.
Three steps, then it just runs
Setup is a conversation, not a project. Most shops are live the same week.
We learn your shop
Your services, your prices, how long each one really takes, who works which days, and the questions you always end up asking. We set it up for you.
We connect your calendar
You share the calendar you already keep. Limona reads the openings and writes the bookings. Your book stays the one true book.
It starts answering
A chat box on your website and a number your customers can text. Every booking lands in your calendar, and you get a text the moment one does.
The 1 PM cancels. You're mid-bath.
Instead of losing the slot, Limona looks at who's waiting, works out who actually fits, and asks you first. One text. Two buttons.
- Only people it truly suits. The right length, a day and time they said they could do, the groomer they asked for.
- One person at a time. Best fit gets ten minutes. No reply, it moves to the next. Nobody gets a group text.
- Nothing after 8 PM. Late cancellations wait until morning, so your customers keep liking you.
Bandit's Full Groom on Friday at 10 AM just cancelled.
Best fit: Godiva (wants Sam, can do mornings).
Also fits: Moose (can come any time).
Reply YES to offer it to Godiva first, or NO to leave it open.
YES
Offered to Godiva. I'll let you know either way.
Godiva's in for Friday 10 AM with Sam. Your calendar's updated. 🐾
You know your regulars, so does Limona.
Ask any regular what their dog weighs and they'll sigh. Limona already knows. On your website, or by text from the number they always use.
- "The usual?" Same service, same add-ons, same person, confirmed in one message instead of ten questions.
- "Who had her last time?" It looks it up and tells them, and can check when that groomer is next free.
- New dog, proper questions. Breed, weight, coat condition, temperament, whether their rabies is up to date and if they can bring the records, so nobody turns up for the wrong appointment.
- Nothing private without a code. On your website, it texts a six-digit code to the number on file before it shows or changes anything. A text sent from that number is already proof.
hi, can I move Pepper’s appointment on the 16th?
Hi Jack. Pepper is in on Thursday 16 October at 9 AM with Sam, a Bath and Brush with Dremel nails. What day would suit better?
the week after if sam’s around
Sam has Tuesday 21 October at 11 AM, or Thursday the 23rd at 9 AM. Which would you like?
tuesday please
Done. Pepper is moved to Tuesday 21 October, 11 AM with Sam. Thursday is back in the diary for someone else.
Jack’s phone, Sunday evening. Nobody at the shop touched anything.
It asks what you'd ask
Not a generic form. The real questions that decide how long a dog takes and whether you can take them at all.
- New dogs: breed, weight, age, coat condition, how they are with handling, and anything else you should know.
- Returning dogs: anything changed since last time? Then straight to "the usual with Sam?"
- Your rules: vaccination records, size limits, the breeds you won't take, deposits for no-show history, whatever your shop's policy is.
- Add-ons, at the right moment: after the price, never before. A dremel, teeth, a de-shed, offered once and never pushed.
It hands over rather than guess
Bear snapped at his last groomer. can you still take him?
Thank you for telling me. That's exactly the kind of thing we'd want to know. That's a call for Dana rather than me. I've let her know and she'll text you shortly.
You get a text: Bear, handling issue, needs youFront and centre, not a bubble in the corner
A little icon in the corner gets ignored. Limona goes where people are already looking for your phone number, the same way it sits at the top of this page. That is the whole point: the first thing a visitor sees is something that can actually book them in.
It works with the book you already keep
We're not asking you to move your business into new software. Limona sits on top of what you use.
On something else, like Gingr, DaySmart or Pawfinity? Ask us. Some of them don't let anyone write to the calendar, and we'd rather tell you that on the call than after you've paid.
Simple monthly price, cancel whenever
$149 / month
Up to 3 groomers. 400 conversations a month.
$189 / month
4 groomers or more. 800 conversations a month.
Over that, 25¢ a conversation. A conversation is one customer, start to finish. If they message again next week, that's a new one.
$499 one-time setup, then cancel any time. No contract.

Straight answers
Does it pretend to be a person?
No. It answers in your shop's name and it's clear it's an assistant. Anything it can't handle comes straight to you.
What if it gets a price wrong?
It can't make prices up. Your prices and times are set in your rules, and the assistant reads them out. It also never says "booked" unless the appointment really landed in your calendar.
Will it double-book me?
It can only offer times your calendar says are free, and it only says "booked" once the appointment is genuinely in there. If your calendar rejects it, the customer is told it didn't take.
My prices depend on the dog. Can it handle that?
Yes. Price by size, coat, breed group, matting, whatever you use. You set the rules once and the assistant follows them exactly.
Do I lose my phone number?
No. You keep your number and your phone. We give you a separate texting number for the assistant, and calls can still come to you.
What if I want to take over a conversation?
Jump in any time. Ask it to stop and it stops. It'll hand the customer to you and tell you what's happened so far.
How long does setup take?
A call to learn your shop, then we build it. Most shops are answering customers within a few days.
Am I locked in?
Absolutely not. Month to month, cancel any time. Tell us to stop and we stop, and your calendar and customer details are yours to take with you.
Let's see if it fits your shop
Fifteen minutes, no slides. Tell us how you take bookings today and we'll tell you honestly whether this helps.
